Getting Started
The AI Makerspace provides a multitude of maintained machines and equipment to help you make the best use of your time on the road to success with Artificial Intelligence. When you visit the AI Makerspace, you will find the equipment listed below throughout the space and available for sign-out using your Andrew ID.
Sign-in/Sign-out Station
When you visit our space, you can sign-in, get information, check out our latest news and learn about upcoming events.
Course Access
We have on-line courses available to help you learn to use our equipment, so that you can get your project moving forward more quickly. Contact Manager Greg Armstrong for access to those courses.
Classes in the AI Maker Space
Spring 2024
16-663: F1Tenth Autonomous Racing
This class will meet in Wean Hall, but students will use the AI Maker Space when working on the vehicles.
16-762: Mobile Manipulation
This class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:50 pm.
16-235: Fantastic Robots and How to Fold Them
This class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 am, starting in February.
Others may use the space during classes if they can use it quietly and not disturb the class. The professors can and will ask you to leave.
