Statement of Purpose
We wished to examine ways in which groups perform better than the individual,
using the Cinematrix technology. We demonstrated how to provoke a change to
the form of system/user interaction so as to elicit cooperative
behavior. Our testbeds arose after we were pushed in several directions by the
class response to our original work, rowing.
