Conditions of Use of Pebbles Applications

The Pebbles applications are Copyright © 1998-2004 - Carnegie Mellon University, and some are being released for free general use. This software may not be re-distributed without permission of Brad Myers. In exchange for use of this software, please send us ideas for new ways that this software can be used, as well as improvements to the software itself. How can the user interface be improved? What are useful and interesting applications for this software?

The Pebbles Slide Show Commander program is Copyright © 1998-2004 - Carnegie Mellon University, and is available for licensing for exclusive world-wide distribution. Other Pebbles programs are also available for licensing, please contact Brad Myers. (See also the SlideShow section below.)

Conditions of Use of Pebbles Source Code

(The Pebbles source code is not generally released. The programming interface for the Pebbles protocol is released, and may be sufficient for your needs. See the coding page. If you are at a company and are interested in having the Pebbles source code, contact Brad Myers about making a grant to the Pebbles project. If you are at a university, we may be willing to release the code for interesting projects.)

The CMU version of SlideShow Commander may be available to selected users from the U.S. Government, Microsoft Corporation, and researchers at academic institutions.
