Short Bio
Seiji Isotani is a researcher at HCII-Carnegie Mellon University working with educational technologies,
in particular, intelligent tutoring systems to support learning of mathematics and chemistry.
Previously, Dr. Isotani have worked with interactive technologies, ontologies and their application in education
with emphasis on Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL). He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Computer
Science from University of Sao Paulo, Brazil,
and a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from Osaka University, Japan.
