Nilanjan Chakraborty's Research
My overall research interests are in studying and understanding the
algorithmic foundations of interacting intelligent systems (e.g.,
robotic systems, cyber-physical systems, intelligent software agents). Interaction
is defined broadly to include physical interaction between robots (or
agents) and objects in its environment, as well as strategic
interaction among agents and interaction among agents and humans
with whom they may work. Details on projects that I have worked on are given below.
Robotics and Automation
Robot Motion Planning: Algorithms and Tools
Multi-robot Task Allocation
Networks of Robots and Sensors
Multiagent Negotiation and Resource Allocation
Human Interaction with Networked Robots
Social Computing
On evolution of cooperation and conflict
