(skeptical reaction from others, overlapping)

--: The end? Already?

--: I don’t like your stories very much…

--: (under) Not really very… satisfying…

--: I like a story to have three…three key elements…

--: (sotto voce) Death, decay, destruction— (others laugh)

--: —a start, and a finish, and—

DIRK: Hey, I didn’t ask to be Storyteller. If you guys have any complaints—

--: (under) I think that a story’s content should be mirrored by its form…
